The Autumn Bride

Now that the world is finally getting back to normality we have weddings again, yay!!! Oh how I've missed them, the world really was a sad place without the love and joy of weddings.

Are you getting married this Autumn? If so this is the blog for you, we are going to explore all things autumnal, especially which flowers are perfect for this time of year! Are you ready? Let's go! Autumn really is a beautiful season, the colours it provides us are truly stunning. Every year nature amazes me with the colours it's able to produce. You can use these beautiful colours in your wedding when choosing your flowers, adding autumnal leaves to your bouquet and centrepieces etc makes for some stunning wedding photos!

Your options for flowers during this season is fantastic, especially if you'd like something a little less traditional, colours are more vibrant and add warmth to your day! Sticking with seasonal flowers is also a much more budget friendly option that's worth keeping in mind. Hydrangea, sunflowers, grasses, dahlias, berries, feathers and lots of foliage...oh my the list goes on and on. Autumn wedding really do have an amazing choice for bouquet flowers but those are some of my personal favourites.

I think autumn and it's seasonal flowers lends itself really well for a boho style wedding, I have visions of long papas grass billowing over from a bouquet, wide patterned lace bridal gowns with flower crowns with lots of natural and neutral colours. It's so pretty even in my head! I had a quite traditional English wedding, it was the most amazing day and I loved every second of it. We still get complements on how amazing our day was nearly 10 years later but...I do think if we were to ever renew our vows it would be a boho wedding with out a doubt! It's such a soft and romantic style that looks amazing in person and in photographs.

All of these amazing autumnal flowers make for stunning bouquets and the plus side is they all dry so well so make for great wedding flowers for preservation! What's better than that, flowers that are budget friendly, gorgeous on your wedding and just as stunning when encased in resin for you to admire for years to come!
