Terms & Conditions

Please read all terms and conditions prior to purchase. 

By completing your order with Suspended Petals you will have been deemed to have read, understood and agreed to all terms and conditions laid out below. 

These terms and conditions shall govern the sale and purchase of good through our website. 

  1. You must give your consent to all terms and conditions prior to completing your order at checkout.

  2. Visit the Royal Mail website to see any all issues with postage.  Suspended Petals cannot be held responsible for any and all items lost in transit.  This includes but is not limited to: items being shipped to us, items being shipped from us, delays in your postage once your order has left us. 

'We' or 'I' refers to Suspended Petals

'You' refers to the customer.  Any interpretation of 'us', 'my', 'our' and 'your' should be construed accordingly. 

Advertising of our products on our website or social media channels is an 'invitation to treat' and not a contractual offer.

No contract will come into force between us and you until your order has been paid in full via our online payment portal.   Payment of our Flower Drying Fee is not paying for your order in full, paying our flower drying fee contracts us to take receipt of your flowers and dry them.  This is not placing a flower preservation order. 

We use recycled shipping materials where ever possible.

What to expect from your flower preservation

  1. All goods from Suspended Petals are handmade and will in no way be 'perfect'. 

  2. Air bubbles both in the resin and on the surface are to be expected, these will not in any way affect the performance or longevity of your flower preservation pieces.  Bubbles will not be classed as a fault. 

  3. Air bubbles, exposed flowers or other faults on the back side (where the bottom of flowers/inclusions are visible) of resin pieces will not be classed as a defect.  This side is not intended for display. 

  4. Fibres, hairs or other elements maybe visible in your flower preservation pieces, we do everything possible to remove any unwanted elements but micro pieces may be visible on detailed inspection.  

  5. Colours of dried flowers and greenery vary greatly.  All flowers & greenery are unique, a lot of factors will affect the colour and quality of dried flowers.  This will in turn effect the colour your flowers will be once cast into resin. 

  6. Changes in the colour of flowers will not be classed as a fault, defect and does not affect the use of your goods.

  7. Flowers may showing bruising once cast into resin, this will present as either transparent or brown spots.  This is not classed as a fault. 

  8. All measurements advertised are approximate, there may be small variations in sizing.

  9. Orders may take up to 18 months to create from the date your flowers arrive with us or your order is paid in full, which ever is the most recent date.  ​​

  10. We are only able to make one attempt at creating your products.   Once inclusions are embedded in resin, they cannot be removed.

Colour correction

Suspended Petals reserves the right to colour correct flowers where they deem it necessary.  You will not be consulted or informed, if you choose to have your flowers exactly as they dry, please inform us not to colour correct at the time of ordering. 

Some flowers are not suitable for colour correction.  This maybe due the shape, texture or type of flower.  It may also be because the flowers are too fragile to colour correct. 

Should colour correction be done to your flowers, this will be done to the best possible match based on pictures provided from both you and those taken by Suspended Petals.  There may be small differences in tone & shade from flowers in their natural state.

Our Suppliers

  1. We use the best quality suppliers for our jewellery, resin, frames and all others supplies used to create all our flower preservation pieces.

  2. Once your order has been paid in full & accepted, we will order any relevant supplies from our suppliers within 48 hours.

  3. We do not keep a stock of our jewellery on site, we order specifically for every order received.  Supplies can take 4-6 weeks to arrive with us.

Products

  1. We do not sell ready made items, all products on our website are bespoke and custom made using flowers & other inclusions sent to us from you.  

  2. We reserve the right to alter, discontinue, replace or change all products advertised on our website at any time. 

Images

  1. We retain ownership of all images and videos taken by us during the process of creating your order. 

  2. We retain the rights to all images and videos of completed pieces taken by us.

  3. We retain the right to use any and all images and videos of you order process, flowers and completed items on our website and all social media platforms. 

  4. We will at no point disclose any personal or private information when distributing any images or videos of your order. 

Please be sure to look though all pictures available both on our website and social media platforms to ensure you are aware of the process and expected result of finished flower preservation pieces.

 

Prices

  1. All prices are quoted on our website.

  2. Prices will increase once, annually.  Contracts already in place will not be affected by any price increases, any future orders from the date of an annual price increase will be subject to the new prices. 

  3. Shipping fees are applicable to all orders under £300 for customers within the UK.  

  4. You are responsible for any and all shipping fees incurred to send flowers to us.  

  5. In the event postage is outstanding when your flowers arrive to us, you will be invoiced for the remaining cost, orders will not be started, completed or shipped until these outstanding fees are paid. 

  6. Any delays in shipping flowers to us may result in flowers being unusable or flowers being of poor quality.

Payments

  1.  When completing your purchase you have the option to pay with all major credit & debit cards, PayPal, PayPal Later, Bank Transfer or Clear Pay.  

  2. If you fail to pay, in full, any and all instalments due to us as laid out in these terms and conditions, we reserve the right to withhold any completed orders and/or, by written notice to you at any time cancel the contract for sale of the ordered products. 

  3. If you fail to pay your invoice for your full order balance within the 7 day payment, we reserve the right to dispose of any and all flowers or other inclusions sent to us within 30 days of the payments due date.

  4. If you wish to cancel your flower preservation & have your flowers returned after paying out Flower Drying Fee, sending your flowers to us & having us completing the drying process, there will be a £100 cancelation fee incurred.  No inclusions or flowers will be returned until full payment of the cancellation fee has been received. 

  5. Order cancellations are accepted within 24 hours.  Any orders cancelled between 48-72 hours after being placed will be charged 25% of the order total.  Any orders cancelled after 72 hours will be charged 50% of the order total.

  6. Any unjustified credit card, debit card or other charge backs will result in you being liable to us, within 7 days following the date of our written request, this is to include an amount equal to the amount of the charge back.   

  7. All third party costs incurred to us in relation to unjustified charge backs, including but not limited to any and all charges made by either our or your bank or payment processer or card issuer.

  8. An administration fee of £20 inc. VAT, and any reasonable costs, losses and expenses incurred in recovering the amounts referred to in your original order, including, without limitation, legal fees and any debt collection fees incurred. 

  9. Failure to recognise a charge on your card resulting in a charge back will suspend all work on your products until full payment has been made alongside any incurred fees.  All products and flowers will remain the property of Suspended Petals until all relevant fees & costs are paid.

Deliveries

  1. All orders will be delivered to the delivery address provided by you at checkout.

  2. All orders are sent via Royal Mail Tracked 24.

  3. We do not guarantee delivery dates.

  4. All orders will be dispatched within 7 business days of order completion & tracking numbers being issued.

  5. The date of your order is the date flowers you send us are received by us, or, the date your order is paid in full, which ever is the most recent.

  6. Shipping around the Christmas period, bank holidays or any other national holiday may cause delays.  We are not responsible for any delays in shipping around this time. 

  7. We are protected by The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulation 2013 - Time for delivery of goods.   Unless the trader and the consumer have agreed otherwise.

Sending Flowers

  1. You must follow all packaging instructions sent to you at the time of booking. 

  2. You will be sent a PDF via email once your order is confirmed with instructions on sending your flowers to us.   

  3. Royal Mail Next Day Delivery must be used when posting your flowers. 

  4. Should you only have a small amount of flowers, please be aware this will reduce your options when purchasing our products.  This will not be grounds for a refund should you be unhappy with the finished products due to lack of flowers and you are agreeing, by accepting our terms and conditions.

Ownership

  1. Upon receiving your flowers, we take ownership of them until your order is paid in full or our cancellation fee is paid in full.  Should full payment or cancellation fees not be paid, Suspended Petals will retain ownership of your flowers until 3 months after the date they arrive with us, after this, they will either be disposed of or used within example pieces. 

  2. Suspended Petals reserves the right to dispose of all flowers received after a period of 3 calendar months after the date your flowers arrive with us should full payment not be received for your order within that time. 

  3. We will not use your flowers for any other orders or show pieces until your order is delivered in full to you. 

  4. Any unused flowers WILL NOT be returned.

Revisions

  1. We reserve the right to amend or alter these terms and conditions at any time.  The revision of these terms and conditions will apply to all contracts entered into at any time following the revision, contracts made before the revision will be unaffected.

Complaints & Issues

  1. If you have a complaint or an issue with your order, please email complaint@suspendedpetals.co.uk within 24 hours of your order being delivered.  We will reply within 14 days and do our best to come to a fair solution.  Please double check your consumer rights on bespoke items prior to sending your complaint to us. 

  2. Your full name, order number & any relevant photographs or videos of your product or shipping container must be sent with your original email.
